E.Coli >2420

Only a few years ago, the Shuswap River was considered the cleanest river at this latitude. But plots of land are being transformed into intensive cattle operations.

Recently water tests near one of the plots showed E.Coli counts of "greater than 2420". Drinking water must be 0. Primary contact (swimming) should be less than 200.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS:  
Chairperson –     Andrew will stay on as Chair
Secretary -        Terri will stay on as Secretary
Treasurer-         Dave Lansing will replace Fred Smith as Treasurer
Hall Rentals -        Doug Neill will stay on as Rental Coordinator
Maintenance -    Leonard Van Der Merwe will take over maintenance

Grass cutting;  Poppy and Maddox are both interested in mowing the lawn.  They will talk and let us know what they decide.

What: Two-day full S100 Wildfire Training – BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) awareness level training enhanced to focus on needs of various industries and rural residents. This training meets BCWS and Worksafe BC standards as “adequately trained” to respond to wildfires with proper supervision.
